New Book by ALLCPR Chairman Dr. Claude Wang Published
SAN JOSE, Calif. — Dr. Claude Wang (Yun Wang), Chairman of ALLCPR and founder of the University of San Jose (USJ), has published his new book, Introduction to Social Safety Infrastructure: A Framework for Personal, Family, Enterprise, and Community Safety.
The book introduces the concept of Social Safety Infrastructure (SSI), arguing that public safety should not depend solely on professional emergency systems such as hospitals, fire departments, and EMS. Instead, safety should be built as a connected network across four levels: Personal, Family, Enterprise, and Community.
Dr. Wang emphasizes a central idea: “Everyone is a node in Social Safety Infrastructure.” Through CPR, AED, First Aid, and emergency preparedness training, ordinary people can become active participants in protecting themselves, helping others, and supporting professional responders.
The book also presents the Prevention–Response–Rescue framework and explores how AI can strengthen safety education, training, and coordination. ALLCPR’s AI+CPR, Smart Manikin, and AutoCPR initiatives represent practical applications of this vision.
The goal is to move society from simply waiting for rescue toward building a culture of preparedness, participation, and mutual assistance.
Safety is not just a service. It is infrastructure.
