1. Online Course Access & Technical Issues
How do I access the online portion of my course?
After registration, you will receive an email with login instructions. Please check your spam or junk folder.
I'm having trouble launching the online course. What should I do?
If the login instructions do not work:

- Visit www.redcrosslearningcenter.org
- Click "Log In" in upper right corner
- Click "Forgot Password"
- Enter email used during enrollment
Once you have created a new password, return to www.redcrosslearningcenter.org and Log In to access the online course.
If you encounter a technical issue in launching the course please try the following:
- Updating your browser
- Using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge)
- If that doesn't work, please contact The American Red Cross Technical Support at 1 (800) 733-2767
2. Choosing the Right Course
Do I need CPR or BLS training?
Choose CPR if you are not in the healthcare field.
Choose BLS (Basic Life Support) if you are a healthcare provider such as a nurse, EMT, medical or dental student.
Should I take a course from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)?
Please confirm with your school or employer.
Generally: Both ARC and AHA are accepted by most dental boards, EMT programs, and pharmacies.
Only AHA Certification is accepted by CSM's EMT program, Nurses working in hospitals.
3. Registration, Attendance & Class Preparation
Can I enroll on the same day of the class?
Yes, if the class is not full.
What should I bring to class?
A valid photo ID and comfortable clothing. All training equipment is provided. Some courses may require a student manual (AHA BLS), which must be purchased before an in person course.
I don't have an email address. Can I still register?
Each student must register with their own unique email address. Certifications are issued based on the email used during registration, and multiple students cannot share the same email. If you don't have an email, please create one before signing up.
4. Rescheduling, Cancellation & Refunds

How long do refunds take?
5 to 7 business days after approval.
5. Certification, CEUs & Expedited Processing
When will I receive my certification?
Digital certificates are typically emailed within 1 to 2 business days after completing your course.
How do I retrieve my certificate?
Can I request expedited certification?
Yes, expedited options (within 24 hours) may be available for an $10 fee. Contact us for more details.
Are CEUs provided?
Yes, for EMTs, dentists, and other professions (depending on licensing boards).
No, for nurses—CPR/BLS courses are generally not eligible for CEU credits.
Please check with your accrediting organization for confirmation.
6. Training Locations & Group Services
Do you offer onsite training for groups?
Yes. We provide onsite training for businesses, schools, churches, and homes. Group discounts are available for 10 or more participants.

7. Course Content & Accreditation
Will I get hands-on experience during class?
Yes. All in-person sessions include practical CPR training using manikins and simulated scenarios.
Are your courses certified by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association?
Yes. We are an officially authorized training provider for both ARC and AHA.
Are these courses suitable for first-time students and renewals?
Yes. Our courses are designed for both new learners and those seeking recertification.
