Position Summary
The Finance Business Analyst Intern plays a key role in supporting financial visibility and operational decision-making across the organization. This role focuses on collecting, structuring, and analyzing revenue, cost, and performance data for ALLCPR’s nationwide training center network. The intern will assist in building performance dashboards, preparing internal management reports, and providing data-driven insights that support budgeting, pricing analysis, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Operational Data Analysis
- Collect, clean, and organize financial data, training output, instructor hours, and operational metrics.
- Track revenue and cost performance by location, training program, instructor group, and region.
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure consistent measurement structure across reporting systems.
Dashboard & Reporting Development
- Assist in developing KPI dashboards using Google Sheets, Excel, or BI visualization tools.
- Prepare weekly and monthly internal reports summarizing program performance trends.
- Support departmental and executive reporting packages used for leadership decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting Support
- Contribute to budgeting workflows and spending projections.
- Analyze cost drivers, profitability by product or site, and ROI of operational initiatives.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, HR, Regional Management, and Training teams to gather inputs and validate data.
- Help improve data workflows, templates, and reporting automation processes.
Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (lookup, pivot tables, conditional logic, data cleaning).
- Strong analytical reasoning and ability to interpret quantitative outputs.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in data management.
Preferred
- Coursework or internship experience in finance, accounting, business analytics, or economics.
- Familiarity with KPI frameworks, budgeting concepts, or dashboarding platforms (e.g., Power BI / Tableau).
- Interest in FP&A or operational finance career tracks.
