Position Summary:
To support our nationwide growth and operational efficiency, we are seeking an innovative and technically skilled AI Agent Development Technician. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom AI-powered tools that automate internal workflows and enhance both staff and student experiences. You will work across departments to identify bottlenecks and build intelligent agents (chatbots, automations, scripts, etc.) that directly support business needs.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of software development, process automation, and emerging AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-Departmental Automation:
- Collaborate with departments such as Customer Service, HR, and Operations to understand workflow pain points and identify tasks suitable for automation.
- Translate department needs into functional AI-driven solutions, ranging from rule-based bots to more advanced conversational AI agents.
AI Agent Design & Development:
- Build, test, and deploy AI assistants and task automation tools (e.g., scheduling bots, FAQ responders, resume screeners, internal task trackers).
Use APIs, custom scripts, and integrations to connect AI tools to internal systems such as CRMs, scheduling platforms, and websites.
Code Maintenance & Documentation:
- Maintain clean, well-documented code and update AI agents regularly to reflect evolving business needs.
- Ensure that tools are secure, efficient, and scalable.
System Integration:
- Ensure compatibility between AI tools and ALLCPR’s existing tech stack.
- Collaborate with web developers or infrastructure teams to handle API endpoints, webhook triggers, and data flow design.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track the performance of AI tools using relevant metrics such as task success rate, user engagement, or error logs.
- Collect feedback from end-users and stakeholders to improve agent performance, reliability, and user-friendliness.
Research & Innovation:
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, RPA, and no-code/low-code platforms.
- Recommend new tools, platforms, or methods to optimize the company’s operational efficiency and digital infrastructure.
Internal Support & Training:
- Develop user manuals and training materials for non-technical teams using AI tools.
- Provide first-line support to internal users and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Experience building chatbots, workflow automations, or similar AI/automation tools.
- Familiarity with tools such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), Dialogflow, or similar automation platforms.
- Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and cloud-based integrations.
Preferred:
- Experience working with OpenAI, LangChain, or other LLM frameworks.
- Prior experience developing internal tools for operations or customer service use cases.
- Basic understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
