ALLCPR is a North American community CPR training network established by Gosvea Inc., and is a Premier Licensed Training Provider (PLTP) of the American Red Cross (ARC), a training partner of the American Heart Association (AHA), and the 2024 ARC Contribution Award winner.
As of June 2025, ALLCPR has launched 150 training centers across 32 U.S. states, training over 6,000 people monthly, with a projected annual training capacity of 100,000 by 2026.
1. What is the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)?
The PVSA is established by the White House and AmeriCorps to recognize outstanding volunteer service by individuals, families, and groups. It includes Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award.

2. Eligibility Requirements
1) Citizenship
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders).
2) Volunteer Hour Requirements (based on age group)

All hours must be completed within a 12-month period and cannot span across calendar years.
3. University of San Jose (USJ) Is an Official Certifying Organization
As of April 28, 2023, USJ is a recognized Certifying Organization (CO) for PVSA, authorized to verify community service and submit applications for volunteers. To date, USJ has successfully helped nearly 10 volunteers—including high schoolers, college students, and community workers—earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold PVSA honors.
4. Types of Eligible CPR Volunteer Work
Assist with nonprofit CPR training or inspections under USJ’s guidance
Support CPR awareness campaigns or events at community centers, schools, churches, or nursing homes
Participate in public safety initiatives such as CPR demonstrations or AED awareness campaigns
Contribute to online volunteer work: translation, course material organization, data entry, community management
All services must be unpaid and have verifiable records for USJ to confirm.
5. PVSA Application Process via USJ
Step 1: Submit a PVSA application request to USJ (Certifying Organization)
Step 2: Confirm your volunteer project and sign a service agreement
Step 3: Perform volunteer service and record your hours
Use the USJ-provided timesheet, detailing task descriptions, hours, and signatures
Tip: Keep supporting materials such as photos, sign-in sheets, and event records
Step 4: Submit all materials to USJ
Includes: timesheet, ID proof, applicant form
Step 5: USJ reviews and submits the application on the PVSA official website
Once approved, USJ will purchase the official award items (medal, certificate, letter)
Step 6: Receive the award package

7. CPR Volunteers Can Apply for PVSA through USJ
If your volunteer activities are co-organized by ALLCPR and USJ—such as assisting in free community CPR teaching or outreach—and are pre-approved by USJ, you are eligible to apply for the PVSA through USJ.
