Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Channel Management Specialist to oversee daily operations within an assigned region. This role ensures that all CPR training classes within the region are scheduled efficiently, venues are properly maintained, and on-the-ground issues are handled swiftly and professionally. This is a mission-critical role that connects instructors, venues, and students to ensure consistent delivery of our life-saving programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Operations Oversight:

  • Manage day-to-day logistics for all CPR training sessions within the assigned geographic region.
  • Serve as the key operational liaison between headquarters and the field, ensuring regional compliance with national standards.

Instructor Coordination:

  • Create and maintain instructor schedules and class rosters, ensuring that each class is properly staffed and aligned with student enrollment.
  • Identify and assign substitute instructors when necessary due to absences, schedule changes, or emergencies.
  • Monitor instructor availability and coordinate personnel adjustments in a timely manner.

Course Planning & Communication:

  • Develop, update, and publish course schedules for each training location in the region.
  • Ensure that all scheduling information is accurate and accessible to both internal teams and students.
  • Coordinate with the customer service and HR departments to synchronize class information, instructor data, and student enrollment.

Venue Management:

  • Oversee the condition, readiness, and compliance of training sites in the region.
  • Ensure venues are properly equipped with required CPR mannequins, AED training units, and instructional materials.
  • Address and resolve facility-related issues such as equipment shortages, room configuration needs, or cleanliness concerns.

Incident Management & Problem Solving:

  • Respond rapidly to unexpected situations such as last-minute instructor no-shows, double bookings, or site-related emergencies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for instructors and venue partners when problems arise.
  • Coordinate backup plans to minimize disruptions and maintain class continuity.

Policy Implementation & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to company-wide policies and American Red Cross training standards at the regional level.
  • Communicate updates, concerns, and progress to central management, contributing to broader operational strategy discussions.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in operations, project management, or logistics.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a coordination, operations, or scheduling role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, scheduling software, and online communication tools.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in healthcare, education, or training-related fields.
  • Familiarity with regional coordination across multiple physical sites.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends, depending on training schedules.
